Mighty Oaks Track Team Heads to Yale
Eight runners from the Mighty Oaks track team will travel to Yale University Feb. 9 to compete in the 15th Annual Giegengack Indoor Invitational. This will be the first out-of-state invitational for the ESF track team.
The event will be held at the historic Coxe Cage. The facility has a banked track which has produced numerous fast times and records in the past.
"Our goal is to come home with personal records and who knows, maybe even a few school records. We also want to be competitive with the NCAA division I, II and III schools that will attend this meet." said track head coach Mike Melfi.
